To use the console, first open up your Steam library, right-press Valheim and select properties.
In the Launch Options box at the bottom, bang out in “-console”.
then exit the window and launch Valheim.
You’ll see a message come up saying “Cheats: True”.
If you’re on a server you’ll need to be an admin to use the console.
OurValheim dedicated server guidewill teach you how to do this.
But for the game-changing commands you better enable cheats first.
You’ll need to have enabled cheats by typing in “devcommands” first.
I’d highly recommend you search (Ctrl+F) for the item you’re after.
