Out now in early access,Slime Rancher 2is the highly anticipated sequel to Monomi Parks charming farming sim.
As a seasoned slime wrangler myself, I was excited to dive head-first into thisnew, colourful world.
Review code didn’t arrive until launch day unfortunately, but all week I’ve been vibrating with anticipation.
But lets start with the good stuff - in short, Slime Rancher 2 looks incredible.
Like seriously, its so pretty I spent half an hour just ogling at its landscapes.
Ive never wanted to eat imaginary fruit so badly in all my life.
Its gorgeous, with plenty of light for crops and space for slime plots.
Monomi Park have also taken the opportunity to expand the lore ofSlime Rancher.
I wont spoil anything here, but its another great reason to go poke around the islands hidey holes.
New slimes, pretty landscapes, curious mysteries - what’s not to love then?
Itsexactlythe same as before.
Unlocking upgrades, gathering resources, improving your wrangling kit with said resources - its the same.
It’s just, you know, I was hoping for more.
