The official Dark Souls pen & paper RPG sounds a bit sloppy

The real Dark Souls starts here. Our corporate siblingsDicebreakergathered a load of complaints from players and ah, it’s a bit silly. Read their post for a big ol' rundown. That’s Dark Souls! Dark Souls, baby! In all honesty, I do mostly find it funny. I should be sympathetic but it sounds like just another licensed adaptation to me. A craving for familiar IP is the true hollowing, bearer of the curse....

This Nvidia RTX 3080 Ti graphics card is £1049

Elsewhere, an RTX 3080 hits 810. The downwards march in graphics card prices continues - oh, how I’ve longed to write those words! The Ti model also seems more power-hungry (and hotter as a result). So - hope this was helpful.

Mythforce looks like a first-person 80s cartoon

It’s a roguelikelike first-person stabber with a striking visual style inspired by 80s children’s cartoons. In that roguelikelike fashion, you’re delving into a dungeon with runs that result in persistent progression. And it supports four-player cooperative multiplayer, which is nice. Mythforce will enter early accesson the Epic Games Storenext Wednesday, 20/4. Epixclusivity tends to end after one year. Beamdog’s first original IP is a fun-filled start to our studio’s next chapter....

The best microSD cards for the Steam Deck

I dont recommend it! These are not mentally stimulating devices. Which, statistically speaking, is most of them. More 1.5TB microSDs, more widely available, equals more happy Steam Deck owners. What we like: 1.5TB model Impressive load times Relatively cheap 1TB model Kingston Canvas Go! Plus Good speeds with a wide range of capacities According to its marketing prose, theKingston Canvas Go! Plusis for “adventurers.” Is playingGod of Waron the 11:55 Paddington to Swindon service an adventure?...

In praise of Ghostwire: Tokyo's animals

I am extra delighted by the animals, though. Regular cats aren’t the only cats in the game, in fairness. They also ask you to find collectibles and/or spend loads of money. Finding all of them is a collectible sidequest, and I love them. But the regular cats are great! This is excellent understanding of dog:cat behaviour. This is extremely good animal realism in a game about bustin' ghosts.

Mordheim studio's new game is putting out Annihilation vibes

Annihilation is a good mood to channel. I hope the third-person explore-o-melee game does turn out a bit like that when it arrives in 2023. Handily, we can murder ‘em with our pet drone as well as swords, axes, and spears. An artman as creative director might lead to some interesting vibes. This is Rogue Factor’s first foray outside the worlds of Games Workshop. Hell Is Us is due to launch on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Xeriex in 2023....

Old World is heading to Steam and GOG next month

That’s finally changing. If you’ve not played the base game yet, you’re seemingly in for a treat. Steve adopted a monkey. Which feels like plenty reason to play it, even without a free expansion to sweeten the deal.

Ride a motorbike through Elden Ring in this Trials Rising level

Hit the Track Central menu in-game and search for Elden Race, you’ll find it easy enough. Plus I appreciate technical jumps. Ubisoft gave it away free for a few days in December 2020. Or, y’know, maybe you bought itthe RPS Verdictdid say 2019’s game was the best Trials yet. The wild thing is that even with a motorbike, this is slower than some Elden Ring speedruns.
