Ice dragon Velkhana returns in Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak's fourth free Title update

The most exciting parts of the new update are, of course, the new Elder Dragons. Velkhana still deals icy attacks to freeze you in place, so wear something warm. Velkhana can be challenged from Master Rank 10 onwards. Weekly Event Quests will continue to arrive as well, bringing new rewards each time. I especially love the white earmuffs spotted in the trailer, mainly because they look warm and cosy. Capcom have promised another free title update in April....

Loot castles with a ghost in this turn-based, stealth 'em up

Better yet, its sneaking onto PC this summer and has ademoavailable now. Spirited Thiefs heists are split into two halves. The trailer shows off some of the shenanigans it’s possible for you to pull as the duo. It somewhat reminds me of Arkanes immersive sims. Check, check, and check. you’ve got the option to check out the demo right now, too.

Pilot a deteriorating submarine through abyssal waters in Full Fathom

Hope youre not claustrophobic Okay, we all agree that the ocean is kind screwed up right? From the trailer and screenshots, controlling the submarine seems incredibly tactile. It looks like you really are completely in charge of charting the ocean, which is a scary thought. Theres something about controlling giant, mechanical contraptions that I love. Full Fathoms different consoles and screens remind me why I love games likeNauticrawlandFar: Changing Tidesso much....

This Fast IPS monitor is a firm favourite - and even cheaper with employee/student discounts. Get the Dell S2721DGFA First - that extra discount. Next, why this monitor then? That makes it a better value overall, especially if it’s discounted as it is today.

The Electronic Wireless show S2 Ep 1: this podcast is definitely not a fraud

Plus: “try cutting off their limbs”; what is Forspoken, and why so graphics? Fear not, regular listeners: some things have stayed the same. I’ve been playingForspoken, and am confused by it.

The Rally Point: The complete Battle Brothers is still the mercenary game to beat

Sibling chivalry Can I tell you a secret? I’m terrible atBattle Brothers. I’mstillterrible at Battle Brothers, even after playing it on and off for a few years. It’s a bit likeBlood Bowl, oddly, in that it’s all about mitigating risks. It’s long overdue, in fact. That’s partly because it sticks so resolutely to its guns. Not that Battle Brothers ever did feel incomplete, mind. It’s simply grown, quite naturally, and wouldn’t fit in those old shoes....

This stylish, text adventure heist game has big Device 6 vibes

Even better, its releasing on March 14th. gadget 6 is a good analogy for how this game might play (or read?) but the pitch for Delete After Reading sounds infinitely kookier. A despised billionaire steals the best game of all time, The Curse Of Penguin Island. Delete After Reading is launching on PC viaSteamon March 14th. If you really cant wait that long, theres also ademoavailable right now.

Unannounced single-player Titanfall game has been cancelled by EA

Around 50 devs were working on the game before its cancellation earlier this week. Titanfall Legends cancellation comes amid a tricky week for publisher EA. Waiting for a new Titanfall feels as up-and-down as being in a Titan would, I imagine. Or just a bumpy rollercoaster. In 2019, Respawns CEO shared that the studioisnt donewith Titanfall yet. A year later we learned that, no actually,Respawn didnt have plansfor future games in the series....

Valve issue feature-filled Steam Deck software update, unbreak Ubisoft launcher games

Ubisoft Connect and SteamOS had a falling out Last night was a restless one for theSteam Deck. Too many to just paste here, really, so have a read of thepatch notesfor the full list. My personal highlight: the Navigation pane in the SteamOS overly is now centered properly. That always bugged me!

If you enjoyed Pentiment, Inkulinati’s cheeky ink-based strategy is a great history lesson

Heres a quick history lesson. And these monks wereRUDE. This cheekiness carries through to gameplay too. The creatures you draw act as your miniature army, which you use to defeat other illuminators' armies. The first illuminator to bring the other down to zero points wins. It’s a monk vs monk throwdown via ink and quill. I honestly find the combat a little finicky so far. But the one thing Yaza Games nail from the get-go is the animation and humour....

Playing Monster Train dev's new co-op roguelike with pals is going to be harder than I thought

Did the combat hold up? Were they pleased to be dragged into a co-op session with me? Yes… and no. It’s quite likeMarvel Snap, in that sense. It’s fast and fluid and ensures that most runs don’t drag on for too long. We had no idea what upgrades we’d all invested in. To be fair, this was almost entirely our own fault. Thing is, are you prepared to discuss everything in quite a lot of detail, all the time?...
