As of today,Sonic Colours: Ultimateis available via Steam after a period of Epic exclusivity. Sonic Colours: Ultimate is a 3D Sonic game, but not in the sense of last year’sSonic Frontiers. Some of those things are subjective, of course. If you already know about Sonic Colors, you probably already know if you’ll like Ultimate. Would it be a Sonic game without caveats?

Potionomics makes chucking a bunch of teeth into a cauldron feel great

As a kid, I was obsessed with pulling things out of cupboards and combining them into a bowl. Shampoo, bubble bath and toothpaste. Salad cream, yeast and lemonade. My Mam was only shouting at me because she didnt understand. These were my elixirs! Sup from this bowl and taste the future of human evolution! As I got older, It became apparent my future was not in alchemy. Someone who puts baby corn into a bolognese clearly doesn’t posses the skill to create balanced mixtures....

Reality Bytes: Blade And Sorcery will make you a better sword-fighter and a worse person

So foul, in fact, that I could quite happily kill something (in a game). I want to hack something to death, with sharp implements in some sort of virtual environment. Oh, what’s this hiding down the back of the sofa? Why, it’sBlade And Sorcery, a VR game about hacking people to death in a virtual environment. In fairness to Blade And Sorcery, it isn’t just about hacking people to death....

The massive Celeste Strawberry Jam mod looks amazing

After completing Celeste all I really wanted was, well, more Celeste. Strawberry Jam has been in development for over two years, and thats evident from the trailer. More abstract, spacy designs return from the main game, too. you’re able to hear a sneak peek of other tracks over on the Strawberry JamYouTubechannel. TheBandcampand streaming revenue from the Strawberry Jam soundtrack will be donated to the charityTrans Lifeline.

Townseek has adorable airships, relaxing trading, and a demo to play right now

Too often those same games also have too-difficult turn-based murderfests in-between, though. Here comes Townseek to fix that. some sort of bee kingdom, as per the screenshot above. Will it be as narratively rich (and silly) as I want it to be? I suppose I could go find out: there’s ademo for download right now on Steam.

Watch Michael Scott from The Office take a stab at running the Mass Effect crew

So, obviously, the natural choice to replace Commander Shepard is… Michael Scott? The videos under 3-minutes long, but there are too many highlights to count through. A special shoutout to the lighting in the video. Miraculously, the lighting on Michael (almost) always matches the ME casts'. Someone should really make a Mass Effect spoof game. Heck, Id likely play and replay it more than the actual trilogy. He also doesnt look too dissimilar to the radioactive mutants, anyway....
