It was wonderful, but all these slang terms were being translated in the subtitles for some reason. “Gobshite” became “bastard”. The “polis” were localised as the “police”. And every “yersel” sneering out of the machismo-ridden workers became “yourself”. There’s another option, says one of the game’s developers. Fight me Minecraftis, very often, just anice place to potter about in. I love almost everything about these, including how much of a fit they are conceptually. But a diamond sword here in ol' MC? Theres no four-day trek across tens of thousands of blocks just to arrive at the door. Its a properly perilous arena, and becomes even more disorderly when the new Breeze mob spawns in.
