Fire up the Chapter 2-4 Firespring, what could go wrong?

Those recommendations are optional since there are still ways to get around them.

Fortunately, you’ll have some help from Olivia.

While you do have to fight both of them, they will eventually separate.

This makes it a lot easier once you and Olivia split up to fight each one.

Something you may notice while fighting the Ajarakan and other monsters is that they have similar attacks.

In a way, this trains you for other fights even when those attacks appear different.

Or how the Rey Dau slides their wing in a straight line towards you.

The Ajarakan instead slams their shoulder into the ground and slides straight towards you.

While they’re far from the same, you will learn to react similarly.

Fortunately for you, you won’t have to fight these off.

But you will have to fight what takes them down.

The only situational items you’ll need are Nullberries and Cool Drinks.

For once it’s not immediately obvious where this monster is.

So if you’re not sure how to find The Black Flame, here’s what I did.

After finding this clue, it became visible on my map to track.

Otherwise, you could likely head to the bottom floor to find The Black Flame.

It looks like a fiery octopus which can make it confusing to know where to hit.

Fortunately, all of its tentacles are severable.

But, you’re able to also focus on its mouth weak point or breaking its head.

You’ll have to press space while standing still to crouch while walking up.

Something I always recommend doing is to look around your environment for creatures and hazards you could use.

You’ll almost always have something nearby you might utilise.

Aside from using your environment, The Black Flame has a large flame breath attack.

Once you’ve completed your Black Flame hunt, the Long-forgotten Flame and Chapter 2-4 are over.
