There is a grand total of115 weapons in Modern Warfare 3, but amere100 of them are firearms.
Still, that’s an awful lot of weapon stats to get through.
If you’re on controller, you could insteadtap “LT"to kick off the weapon stats screen.
They’re fast to reload, and fairly accurate and damaging up to medium range.
However, at very close or very long ranges, their effectiveness sharply drops off.
Still, they can be deadly in the right hands.
They tend to have massive magazines, allowing you to keep firing for far longer before you reload.
However, their mobility and handling stats are very poor, so they suit more static playstyles.
They’re still not as popular as Sniper Rifles though.
