you could view these autosaves from the “Load Game” screen at any time.
Otherwise, it will just say “Sleep”, and won’t secure your progress.
So sleeping in a roadside camp won’t preserve your progress.
you might unlock these permanent beds by beginning Blacksmith Radovan’s and Miller Kreyzl’s quests respectively.
you might also pop launch the Pause Menu and select “Save Game”.
